My education & experience
I attended Victoria University, Wellington, from 1997 to 2003, where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts with first-class Honours in Psychology, a Master of Science with Distinction, and a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Psychology.
I regularly attend conferences and workshops, read widely, and keep up to date with relevant psychological research and literature, as well as engage in consultation and peer supervision on an ongoing basis.
Since 2003 I have worked in a full-time capacity as a clinical psychologist. During 2003 I worked as an assistant clinical psychologist for the corrections department while I completed my university studies. I then worked for 4 years in an outpatient adult mental health clinic within the public health system. From 2008 to 2017 I had a busy full-time practice in Wellington, specializing in adult mental health.
In April 2017 I moved to Wanaka. I provide clinical psychology services to the adult population (17+) of Wanaka, Cromwell, Queenstown and the wider region.
